14SEPT.2023 Did a call in order and Christine was awesome. Our pulled pork sandwich, hush puppies, and slaw were delicious when we got back to our hotel. The Carolina style of pulled pork(vinegary and pepper or spicy throughout the pulled pork)doesn’t have barbecue(BBQ)sauce or different types of sauces. The restaurant inside was very clean and not too busy at 7pm. Lots of seating and clean drink station. I like how the sink is near the dining area before you head to the bathrooms. This is here so you can clean your hands instead of having to go inside to the bathroom. Good for for a decent price.
I tell you what I ordered the flounder and shrimp plate and it was absolutely delicious! Fried to perfection and sweet and tender. I had no idea you had seafood so good and it was served piping hot too! I will be back for more!
Holy shit! I love this place! I'm trying not to go there everyday. Folks are very friendly and the food comes fast. The shrimp basket and the shrimp & flounder basket are the two that I've had a couple of times each. And definitely get the Brunswick stew for one of my sides! Absolutely outstanding!! And way more food than I should be able to eat but I definitely eat it all. Very generous portions. Always cooked perfect. I'll be going back tomorrow to try their barbecue.
The guy with the dreads working the drive through 3/13/2025 8:30 pm, has the best customer service, had our food out promptly and overall gave us a great experience. He deserves a raise!!!!!!!! So hard to find nice employees. not to mention everytime I come in with my grandpa they treat us amazing!
You get a distinct Smithfield's feeling when you walk in but soon realize the vibe is all their own and they make it into a Moore's BBQ experience really quick. While some of the elements are reminiscent of Smithfield's the atmosphere is definitely Moore's. It feels more laid back and relaxed I guess you could say. I thought the food prices were outrageous until I saw the food portions. Just like at their rivals the portions are nutrageously hugantic. I can never even finish a whole meal. The prices do make it somewhere that eating every weeknight is not really an option unless you are pretty well off. If given the opportunity or chance though I will definitely get some lunch from here. If only because I will also inadvertently be buying my dinner also.
Tyler was awesome! He was personable, well spoken, friendly, patience with our grandson 100 questions. Food was hot and delicious as always.
Ribs are melt in your mouth delicious. Offers a meal or side to please every appetite. Now offering soft shell crabs while they are in season..this was a great surprise. Excellent staff. Always pleased with my service.
Here on vacation and called ahead since there were 13 of us and was greeted by such hospitality. Great customer service...deserves a higher rating than a 5 star! The food was excellent and the crab cakes were the best I ever tasted! Highly recommend this place!
